Is this a legitimate work-from-home opportunity?
Absolutely! We partner with top work-from-home platforms, providing our Customer Support Professionals (CSPs) access to positions with leading companies. You’ll have the chance to work for some of the best in the industry, all from the comfort of your home.
Is a background check required?
Yes, a background check is required to ensure a high standard of integrity. Individuals with felony convictions or certain misdemeanor charges will not be approved as agents. There is a one-time fee of $30 for the background check, though this amount may vary depending on the platform’s discretion.
Are any benefits provided?
As an independent contractor, you won’t receive benefits like medical, dental, or vacation coverage. Any necessary coverages will be your responsibility, as you will not be classified as an employee.
Is training paid?
Yes. As an independent contractor, you will be paid for the certification process, which is required before you begin working. While you must attend all certification courses, you will start earning once you complete them and begin taking calls.
Are there any fees I need to pay?
A servicing fee will be deducted from each paycheck to help cover the cost of technical support, essential tools, payroll processing, and other resources. This fee is tiered ranging from $25-$50 based on the number of hours worked and is lower than standard employee tax deductions.
What is the pay rate?
The pay rate depends on the client you choose to work with. Currently, agents earn between $12.00 and $15.00 per hour as a base rate. There’s no cap on your earnings—your income increases with the number of hours you work, so the more you put in, the more you can make.
Are taxes deducted from my pay?
No, taxes are not withheld from your bi-weekly pay. As an independent contractor, you will receive a 1099 form instead of a W-2 for tax purposes at the end of the year.
Do you offer contracts internationally?
Currently, we only contract with CSPs based in the United States, with the exception of the following states: California, Connecticut, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Washington, and Wisconsin.
